Our Story:

Kyle Dunn started working with wood professionally out of his backyard driveway in 2013 following a series of personal projects that grew to include commissions from neighbors and local residents found on Craigslist. It was immediately obvious that there was a need to serve the greater Bay Area with custom furniture. Later that year, the workshop was established in Oakland and now serves clients with a variety of needs- from custom built-in furniture for residences, to unique large scale reception desks and conference tables for companies, to interior millwork services and everything in between. Each project is made to the client’s preferred size, wood choice, and finish. More care goes into each individual piece and results in a better overall experience than purchasing from a high end furniture store. We love using quality domestic hardwoods- the more local the better.
